How Does Infrared Benefit Our Health?

Infrared rays produced by the BioMat are a type of radiant energy that's invisible to the human eye, but we can feel the light ray as heat. The primary source of infrared radiation is heat or thermal radiation. This is the radiation produced by the motion of atoms and molecules in an object. The higher the temperature, the more the atoms and molecules move and the more infrared radiation they produce. Objects in our everyday life emit infrared, and half of the energy produced by the sun is infrared.

The Science Of How The Richway BioMat Works

The BioMat consists of layers of fabrics and Amethyst crystals to generate far infrared rays, which are then transferred to the body as heat. The heat produced comes from friction generated within the body through the effects of the infrared rays. The combination of natural Amethyst and Hyron cotton layer generates far infrared rays (6-12 microns) that the body can easily absorb. The BioMat contains two patented layers which are the peach and grape seed layers which provide additional natural infrared output.  Natural tourmaline and the TOCA (tourmaline) layer generates negative ions.
